Lightning Storm Bracelet
This is my very first entry in the Etsy Beadweavers March Challenge. The theme is Stormy weather.
I had a lot of fun making this cuff bracelet. I didn't think I would get it done in time.
I had the pattern made for about a week and never bought the beads. Then I took a minute and looked to see when the pieces had to be finished. And to my surprise it was March 5th. I realized this on February 17th. I still had to order the beads. I order my beads from Fire Mountain Gems, I think they are on the west coast. So, it takes over a week to get them to NY by Fedex and only 2 days by UPSP. Go figure. So they came in on the 20th, and I worked my little fingers all weekend. I love this bracelet so much! I'm extremely happy that I completed it in time.

Wow! I'm just... WOW.
I love the image you've created with that. (I just don't have the patience to do beadweaving!)
What colors did you use to get that brilliant "spark" in your lightning?

Thank You Barbara for your kind words.
Well, I used a white satin delica seed bead and a clear ab seed bead.
The pictures just do it justice. It really looks a lot nicer in person.
Thanks for looking

My pleasure!
It reminds me of a song about a fellow who danced with a lady in a lightning storm. Lightning Dance or Storm Dance or something.
Thanks for sharing your piece!
I likes it (to quote Gollum!)

This bracelet has got to be one of the most awesome pieces I've ever seen. You're one of my favorite bead artists because you do such amazing work.
Oh, and Fire Mountain IS on the west coast, they're in southern Oregon (my home state). :) Sarah
