It's been a Long time Since I have Posted!!

Wow, it really has been a very long time since I posted anything. One main reason is that I had both hips replaced. I had one done in October and 6 weeks later had the other hip done. 6 weeks after that I was back to work and boy has my life changed!

Well, enough about me here are some new bracelets, necklaces, earrings, rings and patterns.

I entered the Use The Muse II beading Contest

Know that the "Use the Muse II" contest is over and the Muse is reveled. I can show you what I made.

Here is "Oceanography"

My piece is inspired by the ocean! A vintage Swarovski Crystal Rivoli is added to the Muse and bezel set in the center. I connected it with a star fish like design on the back of the Muse to the bezel around the Muse, for a little more interest. The 6 circles that make up the sides of my bracelet are made with a circular brick stitch. I then placed them in a wave like pattern. One end of the clasp is a flat circle peyote stitch and the toggle end is a circular peyote tube with Swarovski Crystals.

Even thought I didn't place or win I had such a great time making it and using my imagination. In fact I enjoyed it so much I have decided to enter the "Use the Muse III" contest. I just purchased my kit and can't wait to get it and start beading away.

I have chosen not to sell my bracelet but to keep it for myself. I think I will be keeping the creation from the next "Use the Muse" contest. This is the only way I can wear my own jewelry. I never seem to find the time to make myself one of my own bracelets.

Newest Photo Ribbon Bracelet ~ Jim Morrison

He has shades of silver, black, gray and white. This bracelet measures 7" long x 1-5/16" wide. The clasp is a sterling silver slide clasp.

A little insight into the making of my Photo RIbbon Bracelets. All my photo ribbons take approximately 9-10 hours to make. I used beads that are about 1/8” wide and each bead is picked up individually with a a needle and sewn through the bead next to it. Each bracelet is made with over 2000, depending on the length and width.

Every Photo Ribbon and Snapshot Bracelet comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and will be packages in a beautiful pink gift box.

NEW ~ Stevie Ray Vaughan Photo Ribbon Bracelet

This is another re-styled bracelet in my Photo Ribbon collection. Stevie Ray Vaughan is an adjustable bracelet and is created with seed beads, 2236 seed beads to be exact. I pick up EVERY bead, one by one and stitch it through the next bead. Can you say "time consuming", but I do love making every bracelet I create.

You can find this bracelet in my etsy shop PinkPoochDesigns.etsy.com.

New Adjustable Photo Ribbon Bracelets

I always struggled with how I could make my Photo Ribbon Bracelets adjustable. I must have purchased so may different kinds of links and never having a good outcome.

One day an idea just popped onto my head, "Why can't I just make the link I want". I went out and bought a soldering gun and purchased solder from jewelrysupply.com. I had silver wire and a wig jig and began to solder the link I had in mind. I don't no why I didn't think of this sooner.

I think the outcome of this Photo Ribbon bracelet came out perfect. So, I will be adding adjustable Photo Ribbon bracelets to my etsy shop PinkPoochDesigns

NEW ~ Gwen Stefani Photo Ribbon Bracelet (Hand Stitched Beaded Bracelet)

I was asked if I could make a bracelet of Gwen Stefani, of course I said yes and got to work on it right away.

I have to say that this was one of the easier bracelets for me, everything just went so smoothly. I loved the way it came out that I decided to add it to my Photo Ribbon Collection.

Well the above pictures are the result of the custom order. You can find it in my etsy shop PinkPoochDesigns.etsy.com
